hallo kai!!
vielen dank – als ich vor ein paar tagen in delhi war war die brille noch nicht da – hast du evtl. eine tracking nr. von fedex oder ups die du mir geben koenntest? hab auch schon erste fotos aus burma auf meiner webseite…. seit 4 tagen sind wir jetzt in indien … und ich war ziemlich ueberrascht von delhi.. man liest ja immer soviel wie schnell indien sich gerade entwickelt… mit massiven callcentern und riesigen softwareentwicklungszentren etc… davon merkt man in delhi aber ueberhaupt nichts… das ist wie eine reise 100 jahre zurueck in die zeit… und erschreckend viel armut und elend… sprichwoertlich ueberall liegen die menschen bettelarm auf der strasse…. viele gruesse und “namaste” 🙂 stephanie
i’m curious, i read your piece on Cambodia’s quiet outrage about how long it took just to charge Duch for crimes against humanity. Why did it take so long? I hear the tribunal had thousands of pages of evidence against him for years. Why not charge him earlier? Why not charge Nuon Chea (senior surviving member of the Khmer Rouge) earlier? Do you know the answer? Thanks! Keep up the great writing!
I just finished reading your blog , all of it except the archives. I will save that for another time. You write beautifully and the pictures were amazing. You really captured the spirit of the places you visited. I was ready to pack my bags until I got to the part about your trek by elephant into the jungle. Too many creepy, crawlers for me! I hope your ear and knee are back to normal.
